This cello bow was made by Nicolas Maire in Paris, France circa 1860 and weighs 79 grams. The round stick is made of medium brown pernambuco and is 69.2 cm long. The frog is ebony with silver mountings and inlaid pearl eyes. The button is ebony with two silver rings and an inlaid pearl eye.
